In ceremonies Friday at State Police Troop B Headquarters, 100 Veterans Blvd., three troopers received awards from Col. Stanley H. Berthelot, superintendent of State Police. The recipients and their awards were (from left): Trooper First Class Raymond Junkin of Metairie, and Richard Hoerner of New Orleans, the State Police Lifesaving Medal, and Trooper First Class Charles B. Saltaformaggio of New Orleans, the Service Injury Award.
