Description
An early morning shootout between Jefferson Parish deputies, State Police and two unidentified men in a van, left one of the suspects dead in the van. The other man apparently escaped the van wounded in the leg, according to Captain Lynn Sherman, spokesman for the Jefferson Parish sheriffs office. The van was full of bullet holes.
