Assembly line production has begun in the world's most mechanized ship-manufacturing facility, Ingalls West Division of Litton Industries. The first ship to start through the assembly line of the $130-million facility in Pascagoula will be the SS Austral Envoy, a 668-foot container ship for Farrell Lines, Inc. of New York.
