Congressman F. Edward Hebert, left, is presented The Times-Picayune matrix announcing his being named Headliner of the Year by the Gridiron Club Friday night by Fritz Harsdorff, the newspaper's associate editor and top banana of the show. This presentation was the only serious part of the show, which satirized politics, politicians and others in the public eye.
