A General Electric data capsule similar to that which recently photographed the earth from an altitude of 250 miles is shown here on display at the Air Force Missile Test Center in Florida. E. C. Hattier, a native of New Orleans and Tulane graduate, explains the operation and recovery aids of the capsule. Hattier is acting manager of General Electric's Flight Test Engineering Group which launched the historic camera-carrying nose cone from Cape Canaveral.
