C.W. Hardell has been named to the newly created position of director of air and water conservation for Sinclair Research, Inc., the company announced today. Mr. Hardell joined the Sinclair organization in 1934 as a chemical engineer in the research and development department of Sinclair Refining Company. He held positions of increasing responsibility in that Sinclair Oil Corporation subsidiary and the former Sinclair Rubber, Inc., and in 1952 was elected a vice president of Sinclair Petrochemicals, Inc., the post he held at the time of his new appointment.
