Robert N. Habans, Jr. was sworn in Tuesday before Federal District Judge Frederick J.R. Heebe as an assistant United States attorney. Habans is 26 yeats old and is a native of New Orleans. He received his law degree from Tulane University in 1970 and for the past two years worked for the Justice Department in Washington, D.C. He is married to the former Patricia Stern. They have one child and reside at 6959 Canal Boulevard.
