1967 Press Photo Home And Neighborhood Development Sponsors awardees

The women from left to right are: Mrs. Samuel I. McElhoes, new CBA president, whose Village de L'Est Garden Club won the top award in beautification; Mrs. C.J. Probst, Sr. representing Pontchartrain Garden Club, which won the top anti-litter contest and Mrs. James Janin, representing the Ivy League Junior Garden Club, which won the new Junior anti-litter award. HANDS is sponsored by the Sears Community Improvement Fund. The advertising firm contributed two of the anti-litter awards.
