1974 Press Photo Mrs. Arthur Bernard grows Chestnut trees in her Kenner yard

Spiny Chestnut Burs required a light touch when you want to remove a branch. So Mrs. Arthur F. Bernard, 2012 Idaho, Kenner seems to be saying. She got homesick for Chestnut trees like the ones she used to have in her native Tennessee so she brought seeds back to plant. Now she has 10 Chestnut trees...of which have been bearing for three years.
