$500,000 investment by the General Electric Company on the West Bank is this new service shop building to open in June. To be built on DeArmas st. the new building will replace a smaller one at 2815 N. Robertson. W. J. McMillan, service shop manager here, said the new building reflects the company's confidence in industrial growth in the New Orleans and Gulf Coast region. Contractor is Hugh O'Connor Construction Company.
