"If your young child has unusual difficulty trying his shoe laces: doesn't use scissors well: can't stay in lines to color, appears easily confused or mixed up; confuses colors, answers a question such as "How old are you?" with "Fine, thank you, and can read but not write, he may not necessarily -but may have a learning disability," says Dr. Stephen W. Freeman. Dr. Freeman when in New Orleans last week to attend a Council for Exceptional Children conference. He is a special education psychologist consultant at the Child Development Center in Pensacola, Florida, and has authored a book entitled "Does Your Child have a Learning Disability?"
