Appointment of Leslie E. Fourton, is former resident of New Orleans, as vice-president of Hayden Stone & Company Incorporated, New York brokerage and investment firm, was announced Wednesday, The appointment is effective January 2. Fourton attended Tulane university here and Columbia university in New York and began his career as an employee of The Times-Picayune. He joined Hayden Stone in 1958 as a petroleum analyst and assistant manager of the investment research department, later becoming director of research.
