Lee Ellzey was born in 1880 in the Sand Hill Community near Ellisville Mississippi. On September 15 he was 92. Besides chewing tobacco, Ellzey likes sitting on the porch in his rocking chair and talking about the past. "I got 100 acres of land here. I bought 80 of 'em in 1908 from Jim Speed for five dollars an acre. Then I got the other 20 in 1918."
