The 3,500-ton Dreadnought, Britain's first nuclear submarine, slides down the ways at her launching today in Barrow-In-Furness, England. The whale-shaped vessel-designed to kill other submarines-was launched by Queen Elizabeth II. The vessel is 226 feet long with a beam of 32 feet.
