Receiving special trophies for outstanding individual performances were these four East Jefferson gridders, who were honored at the annual East Jefferson football awards banquet in the school cafeteria. Kneeling, from right, are Charles "Chuck" Dees, best back; and Robert Poole, who was name a tri-captain. Standing, Bob Marshall, most valuable; and Tom Brock, best lineman. Brock and Dees were the other tri-captains chosen by the East Jefferson football squad.
