Dr. Burton P. Dupuy Jr. of Natchitoches, Sunday was elected president of the Louisiana State Association of Optometrists. He succeeds Dr. Joseph W. Haynes, of Rayville. The election was held in the closing session of the group's 45th annual convention at the Sheraton-Charles hotel.
