Veterans Administration - William J. Driver has submitted his resignation as Veterans Administration director, the White House announced Friday. There were indications of perhaps six more resignations from key VA posts. Senator Everett M. Dirksen and some other GOP congressmen have been urging President Richard M. Nixon to give the top VA post to a Republican. Driver was named administrator by former President Lyndon B. Johnson in 1964.
