1951 Press Photo Winner of Sorbonne scholarship awarded by the French Government

Winner of a Sorbonne scholarship for the second time, Paul A. Duet (center), 7904 St. Charles, is congratulated by Lionel C. Durel (left), chairman of the cultural relations committee of France-Amerique de la Louisiane and French Consul-General Lionel Vasse. The scholarships were awarded n the French Government in cooperation with France-Amerique, Mr. Dent will leave for Paris in September to study French linguistics, literature and culture. Mr. Duet won his first Sorbonne scholarship in 1938.
