1960 Press Photo Polyethylene Plant, Dow Chemical Company, Plaquemine, Louisiana

This is a general view of the new polyethylene plant at the Dow Chemical Company's Louisiana Division in Plaquemine. Production of polyethylene plastic is now in progress at this unit. Construction work on the plant was begun in the summer of 1959 and completed about two months ago.
