The Honorable Jose Luis Cruz-Salazar, Guatemalan Ambassador to the United States, formally submits his nation's ratification of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to Miss Virginia Duke of the State Department in Washington, D.C. Thus, Guatemala became the first Latin-American country to deposit its approval of the formation of IACA. Presentation was made under a reproduction of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
