Washington- Attorney General J. Howard McGrath today announced the appointment of New Orleans Attorney Eberhard P. Deutsch as his special assistant to handle an appeal from a court decision that the government was negligent in the Texas City, Texas, disaster three years ago. Deutsch will be assisted by several Justice Department attorneys.
