Irving P. Aucoin Jr., right, Metairie, mail carrier, signs an affidavit before Judge J.A. "Bob" Wilkes after the postman was bitten by a dog. A Metairie woman whose dog bit a mail carrier and ripped his trousers has been arrested by Jefferson Parish authorities. Judge J.A. "Bob" Wilkes said he has paroled Mrs. William Derby, 749 Melody dr., and booked her with allowing her dog to roam parish streets without a muzzle or being held under a leash.
