Looking forward to her second year as professor in charge of the Newcomb-Tulane Junior Year Abroad this year, Mrs. Alfonso del Marmol still chuckles over some of the happenings of the first year she accompanied the junior students to Europe. That was 10 years ago. She recalls the lifted eyebrows, even in Paris, when she talked to a seal in the rain on the Rue Assomption, and she will never forget the sparkle in the eyes of one of her pretty blonde proteges when she told her professor in charge about her adventure aboard a Paris bus.
