A quick-witted patron nabbed a man who allegedly robbed the new Whitney National Bank, 2650 Canal, of $490 Friday morning. Robert Toxie Dearman, 40, was apprehended a block from the bank by a fleet-footed truck driver. Dearman, recently released from Parchman Penitentiary in Mississippi, was booked with armed robbery.
