1958 Press Photo Hal C. Decell receives award from R.C. Cook for newspaper work

In recognition of the outstanding work played in the field of weekly newspapers, President R.C. Cook of Mississippi Southern College (left) presents Hal C. Decell, editor of the Deer Creek pilot at Rolling Fork, Mississippi, with a citation "for outstanding work and contribution in the field of weekly newspapers in Mississippi." The college will make a similar award each year.
