1964 Press Photo Pap's Food Center at 1937 Mirabeau, robbed after opening

Two fast working bandits held up Pap's Food Center at 1937 Mirabeau five minutes after the store opened today and fled in a getaway car with $45,000 before anyone could alert police. The robbers, both armed, forced five other employees to lie on the floor while the manager emptied the safe at gunpoint. Later, the manager was also forced to lie on the floor.
