1955 Press Photo Jesuit High School Construction Bids Meeting with Reverend

Old Grads and faculty were present when bids were opened recently for construction of a new recreation center at Jesuit High School. Building is expected to start soon though the Very Reverend Harry L. Crane, S. J. School president, termed bids "disappointingly high." A bid of $115,729 was the lowest. Attending were, left to right, seated, Representative F. Edward Hebert, President Crane, Councilman Fitzmorris; standing l. Williams Ricciuti, the Reverend Lambert Dorn, S. J., and Charles I. Denechaud, Junior. Eleven building firms entered bids.
