1959 Press Photo Boat blast victim Edmond Collins at D'Ingianni Hospital

Edmond Collins, 47, of Caemarvon, was in fair condition in D'Ingianni Foundation Hospital here today after a boat explosion at the Violet shrimp fleet blessing yesterday. A hospital spokesman reported Collins was "improved a little" this morning. The victim was treated for second degree burns of the face, hands, arms and legs.
