1949 Press Photo Police arrested a Communist demonstrator during rally in Berlin

Surrounded by German police, a Communist demonstrator is arrested in the Western Zone here during a "World Peace Day" rally staged by the Communist. Demonstrators were arrested when they tried to block police attempts to break up the meeting.
