Description
Elray Bartney displays his quarter-size nickel, left, with standard quarter and nickel. Elray Bartney, 31, 5228 Constance, a bus driver on the Magazine st. route for New Orleans Public Service Inc., found a nickel the size of a quarter in his change barrel. Bartney says he just places the money in the barrels by feel, and in sorting it out at the end of the day he noticed the large 1940 nickel.
