Steve A. Alford Jr. (left) of Baton Rogue, District Four governor of the Kiwanis Club International, presents a charter for the newly organized Kiwanis Club of Moisant to its president, Wilmer J. Baltazor. The charter banquet was held at Hilton Inn, where the club will meet each Tuesday at noon. The new club is sponsored by the Carrollton and Lee Circle Kiwanis Clubs.
