New Orleans - First sheet of Christmas stamps to be sold in New Orleans goes to Major Auldridge, Marine Corps public affairs officer of the Eighth Naval Station. Mrs. Elsie B. Graf, secretary to Postmaster Paul V. Burke, hands over the stamps in a ceremony at the Post Office. Deadline for mailing parcel overseas is November 8. Deadline for Parcel Air Lift is November 29 and deadline for Airmail parcels is December 13. Overseas military mail must have APO or FPO numbers.
