1967 Press Photo Alma Atkinson Places Crown on Statue of Mary for May Crowning

Following the Catholic tradition of observing the month of May as dedicated to the Blessed Mother, Alma Atkinson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Atkinson, 2325 Walnut, places crown on statue of the Mother of Christ during the annual May Crowning ceremonies at Maison Hospitallere, 822 Barracks. The religious services, normally held at the garden shrine, were moved to the hospital chapel due to inclement weather.
