Violinist Charles Andres is 71 and has been a resident of the area since 1932. They call Andres "Mr. Fix-it." He is a radio and TV specialist, refrigerating engineer, and ham radio enthusiast and an accomplished musician. He was a violinist with the New Orleans Symphony Orchestra and played in a number of New Orleans theatre orchestras many years ago.
