As West German Chancellor Willy Brandt stands by, Israeli Premier Golda Meir delivers a welcoming speech on his arrival at the Lod, Isreal, International Airport Thursday for his historic visit to the Jewish state. Brandt is the first German government chief to set foot in Israel. Mrs. Meir praised anti-Nazi remarks which Brandt made and said his visit undoubtedly will be of major importance.
