1982 Press Photo Accidents - A tree blown onto car on State Street during storm.

Nellie Watson, 31, looks at her car, at right, through the leaves of a magnolia tree that feel on it in the 700 block of State Street. The tree also hit a pickup truck belonging to Louis Whitlow, 74, who was slowing down for a red light about 3:30 Monday afternoon when the tree was blown down during a heavy rain.
