Here's a happy group at time of sailing of the SS Alcoa Corsair Friday evening, but just a few hours later their happiness was turned to sadness when their ship was crippled by collision. None of these was hurt. They are a group from Altadena, Calif. (from left) Mr. and Mrs. Isidor Carroll; Mrs. Marcella I. Sprafka, Mrs. Marcella E. Geers; Mrs. Francis D. Wilhite, Mrs. Ethel M. Bothell and Francis D. Wilhite.
