1985 Press Photo Hurricane Danny - Frank & Shawn Fouchi Attempt to Move Tree

Hurricane Danny - This very large willow tree fell this morning about 9:05 am and damaged the roof of this home of the Fouchi family. Frank Fouchi, an air traffic controller, was in the tree trying to cut the rest of it so it wouldn't do more damage to his roof. He is being assisted by his fourteen year old son, Shawn, and a neighbor. He said he called a tree trimmer, but they said it would be some time before they could get to him, and he didn't want further damage. He said the tree probably tilted during the night, and broke from the weight of the rain and winds.
