Surveying the damage to his late model sedan is A.J. Birou, 3024 Ursulines. He was inside the house next door when neighbors reported his auto had smashed into the front steps at 3822 Jena St., owned by Harry Herman. Police officers have been unable to determine who was driving at the time of the accident.
