1984 Press Photo Accidents - An overturned truck on Airline Hwy. at David Drive.

A truck making a left turn off Airline Hwy. onto David Drive turned over shortly after 7:00 this morning. The driver of the truck, Leonard Ray, age 31, said the load apparently shifted in the trailer which caused the trailer to turn over, pulling the cab with it. Leonard was slightly injured, but said he would get his own medical attention. The truck, owned by CARO Produce and Institutional Foods, Inc., Houma, Louisiana, was carrying produce for a delivery. The truck landed just between two power poles, one of which had high power lines on it.
