Mr and Mrs Melvin Ellis battling to keep their Catholic-born adopted daughter, Hildy, planned to seek the Florida governor's aide in "a last stand" against Massachusetts authorities. They have dodged authorities and process servers since the Massachusetts Supreme Court ordered them in 1955 to return the little girl to her natural mother.
