Mrs Augustine Bowe, 1120 Lake Shore Dr, has been elected president of the board of directors of Lower North Center, 1000 N Sedgwick. Lower North Center is a settlement house in the Mother Cabrini housing development. Mrs Bowe succeeds Mrs David B Wallerstein, who has been elected honorary chairman of the board. Lower North Center serves about 1,400 persons weekly, mostly children and teenagers.
