Wash, DC - Ruth Fisher, estranged sister of Gerhard Eisler, (left) identifies photographs and passports issued to Eisler under assumed names. Holding the evidence is Robert E Stripling, chief investigator for the House Un-American Activities Committee. In her testimony before the Committee today (Feb 6) Mrs Fisher stated that she broke with her brother in 1923 over "communist policies," and that she had been busy trying to expose him as the "most dangerous type" of agent for the Communist International.
