1953 Press Photo William F. Wood, Kidnapping Victim Displaying Wrist Scars

Wood was held captive in his home for several days by Howard S. Meak who was shot and killed by a policeman. He and Wood were in a public market and Wood shouted to a policeman. A woman and the policeman were wounded.
