1939 Press Photo Ambulance Drivers Miss Otter & Sonja Carlsson of Stockholm

Miss Otter (left) and Miss Sonja Carlsson of Stockholm are the first two women drivers who have completed their apprenticeship as ambulance drivers. Training of women in this work was initiated by the Air Protection Corps of Swedish Insurance Lady Employees.
