1936 Press Photo Soprano Queena Mario of Metropolitan Opera Nash LaFayette Show

Mario is the headline guest on Floyd Gibbons' Nash-LaFayette Speedshow. Miss Mario, an important star at the Met for years, teaches young singers most of the time and writes detective stories in her spare hours. The Speedshow, with Vincent Lopez' orchestra supplying the music, will be broadcast over the Columbia network.
