1935 Press Photo John F Royal NBC Vice President in Charge of Programs

Mr Royal will sail for Europe on the Rex for a personal survey of foreign educational broadcasting and for a series of conferences with state and radio officials abroad. One of his first visits will be to the Vatican. Later, he will go to France, Germany, Russia, England, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland, and Poland. Royal is seeking new ideas that are adaptable to NBC networks, particularly along the lines of cultural, ethical and academic broadcasts.
