Description
Governor Rockefeller (right) and Marchi (center) applaud the signing of a bill at the Governor's New York City offices to provide Dr. Arthur J. Krause, (left) a pension for the rest of his life. Krause, who is 73, was improperly dismissed from the faculty of the College of the City of New York in 1933 following his eight-day hunger strike protesting the rise of fascism in Europe. The bill was in vindication of this act.

Photo is dated 1970.
