1947 Press Photo Twins Ronald & Robert Patterson Eat Candy Armed Forces Exhibit

Washington - Ronald (left) and Robert Patterson, 20 months-old twins of Mr. and Mrs. Robert R. Patterson of Charleston, Missouri, share a candy bar in the National Confectionery Association Exhibit at the Food and Container Institute shown in Washington. More than 300 representatives of government, educational institutions and industry gathered to organize a concerted cooperative effort to perform research in the food field to meet any crisis which might arise in the future.
