Congressman refuses a drink but it was wood alcohol with some of the splinters taken out the Congressman refusing to take the drink is F.H. La Guardia of New York and his temper is Congressman William I. Sirovich a New York Physician. Doc. Sirovich tried to give an exhibition on the floor of the house of how bootleggers removed poisons from alcohol and how the prohibition Bureau could make alcohol non poisonous and till impossible to drink.
